I don't believe it will do as well as people expect for a few reasons :

(1)- EVERYBODY minus a handful already played it on PS360. A fair number will double dip, but I don't think that will be as big as people expect because :

(2)- TLOU:PS4 released to a relative vacuum of titles, and to a console with a higher than normal percentage of converts from Xbox and Nintendo platforms (and even PC players). Even so, TLOU on PS4 will not reach the sales of the PS3 version lifetime. It was worth making, but the best thing about it was the surrounding environment.

Now, we don't know for sure the timing of the re-release, but as we know, 2015 is going to be a BIG year for PS4/XB1. If they line this up vs. major new titles, they will fade pretty quickly. If they drop it in a timeframe where there are no other major releases, it could do okay. Not amazing, but maybe 20% of the PS360 sales.

But again, TLOU remaster is only selling decently. Not amazingly. And that's a title that a TON of people weren't able to play because they didn't have a PS3 at all. Basically everyone on earth that wanted to play GTA5 have had their chance to do so, and the game pushed gen7 consoles to the limit. So I'd have to guess that a minority of players will want to pay $60 to play the game again with upgraded graphics, just as I imagine a minority of TLOU Remaster buyers are people that already finished it on PS3.

We'll see.
