The issue wasn't really the pictures (as they are viable media that show a snippet of the xone launch in Japan), but how the pictures are used. In the case of the locked thread, the OP only used the most negative pictures to try and skew the direction of the topic instead of giving the readers the full picture and letting them discuss with a more clear scenerio.
I don't think anyone doubts that the XOne will get off to a slow start, but that's no reason to dog pile and mock it incessantly.
