This I dont get. Its like if people pretend that when the quater ends thats when  the companies actually ship that total amount in one go. As far as anyone know, demand for mario kart was so high that they had to ship a new bage by next week. especially considering that stores where not ordering a lot due to the little demand back then.

I get  the whole 80k only in shelfs and 60k of thouse are only japan, wich is why I said the other part. Demand for the wii u was so low, that stores did not order to many and they will definetly not want to have 500k wii us in storage thinking they will sell that in a year. They would most likely ordered it as the supply was gone. Retailers where being cautious and not order many, so for me at least it makes sense that there are not many in shelves at that time. The same thing that happened to the x1 and MS had to stop producing them and shiped less because demand was low and they would otherwise pile up. This is why shiped numbers dont mean much for the wii u or x1, while for ps4 is spot on cuz they are sold as soon as they arrive.
