Well there are games who have hit that milestone in a month. Heck we even have a game that hit that amount and some....in a day. I'm also willing to take a guess and say that they definitive version of that said game will also hit over a million when it releases.

Yeah and they are hardly surprising, for one they are new releases and usually multiplat as well. I expect the PS3 version of TLOU did 1 million physical very fast, but the remaster as well? Maybe it has, I just haven't seen any actual proof only speculation.

This shouldn't be surprising either. If this was Halo, people wouldn't be surprised if it sold 1 million in a day.  Oh and even for a multiplat, outside of COD, it sold millions in a day on each of the past gen consoles. I guess what I'm saying is that the popularity of this game has brought an incredible amount of positive and negative publicity. Which in any case, people were intrigued to see what the hype was about this game. That also factors into the sales besides some 360 gamers not having PS3's to play this game.
