Necro threads (since this one only dates back to March, I'm not sure I would have qualified this one as dead unless the definition is considered "live until proven wrong.") are amusing ways of reminding everyone how perception and reality can clash given enough time.

Frankly, if anyone has issue with being called out for making a thread that proves to be the opposite of correct, they really don't have a leg to stand on if they choose to take it poorly. The only way of handling something like that is with grace; by admitting one didn't see the outcome happening, whether that was due to their own biases, or selective use of available data and that as a result, they were completely wrong.

I personally don't see the XBO staying at the same level as the Wii U permanently, but in all fairness, the OP didn't make that distinction. It was more of a "I don't see the Wii U ever selling as many units as the XB1 for a given report/week and I don't understand why anyone would think this would ever happen" type of post.
