Yes. But they need to change the engine to something more in the vein of Super Mario 3D World... Have lots of characters with different abilities like Peach, Rosalina, even Wario... More baddies, take out the Koopalings. Have new thematics for the worlds. More inspired music, just like the soundtrack of Tropical Freeze.
But the most important of all: Take out that awful "New" in the title.
