Rumoured specs of the New 3DS (as compared to the regular models)

No, just look at the comparison video for the Xenoblade port. The games looks noticably worse on the new 3DS then on the Wii.

That's only in the graphics department, when it comes memory and cpu this new 3DS beats the Wii i think. To bad they didn't give the gpu a bump.

The framrate was worse, the aliasing worse, the draw distance was worst, same for the textures. I'm still inclined to think the only thing the new 3DS has over teh wii is shaders.

You saw the first trailer of a game and you assume it's going to look like that when it is released? And even if it is, to assume the new 3ds is worse than the wii based on that may be a bad assumption considering xenoblade wii was made towards the end of the wii and, therefore, developers knew how to push it the farthest. The "new" 3ds is just beginning and will probably be at least a couple/few years before they really push it.

Yep! Especially for Nintendo games. I can't remember the last time the initial trailer for a Nintendo game looked noticably different from the final product.

And you're right, this comparison is not conclusive of anything but but its the only tangible evidence we have. the evidence suggests it is not more powerful then the wii, hence why EVERYTHING in the trailer looks worse.

at bolded, isn't it the same achitecture as the 3DS?
