I had a long conversation on another forum about Japanese culture in which I was told in no uncertain terms that I was completely wrong and that the Japanese don't have any particular reason to buy more consoles/handhelds during what WE consider Christmas. Regardless of the fact they DO seem to buy more at the same time of year as we do ... The guy just couldn't see passed the fact I'd called it Christmas to the point of him not realising it doesn't matter what the hell causes the increase, it takes place! LOL

They don't celebrate Christmas but they still buy a lot of games in December. Not sure why.
