Why do people really even care that much about Japan.
Lets look at this way.
The PS4 doesn't need Japan to win this console generation running away. So it's not important there.
All big console Japanese publishers will have to support the PS4 at some point by default if they want to make money outside of the non-existant Japanese market. So that means MGS, Final Fantasy, Musou/Dynasty Warriors, Resident Evil, and many other types of Japanese franchises are a lock.
So really what would be the significance of a 8k baseline versus a 15k baseline? Dick all in end results.
