So is PS4 "saved" in Japan?

I honestly doubt PS4 + Wii U combined can sell 10+ million there. 

"saved" is relative my friend. I never once said it's going to revitalize the console business in Japan. But if PS4 can go from a 5k baseline to 15-20k would that not be a worthwhile improvement? 

I don't think even a 15-20k baseline is achievable in Japan anymore. For a console to being doing "good" in Japan it's going to mean a baseline around 10k. 

Which I think both PS4 and Wii U will struggle to achieve. 10k/week on the regular might be asking a lot this gen for any console in Japan.
