So is PS4 "saved" in Japan?

Consoles are doomed in Japan period. Nothing is saving them. Accept that and move on.

It'll boost the baseline sure, but nothing is saving the console business over there.

I honestly doubt PS4 + Wii U combined can sell 10+ million there.
