I don't know why people think Smash will do wonders for the Wii U.

MK is a system seller. SSB is not. I thought this was known long ago. That game is generally picked up by the established community. Sure some systems will get pushed when it comes out but it wont be very much. MK didnt push many systems so there is a big, big problem at Nintendo right now. Third party is the problem and without it, it will sell worse than the Gamecube.

SSB will easily push alot more consoles than mk8, i'll be happy to remind you all

I'm confident that you are a bigger fan of Nintendo than I. I'll still happily make a bet with you right now that it wont. With the DS being out there it will cannibalize the sales for those who don't have Wii U's. I have friends who have the DS who are completely fine with skipping over the Wii U.
