Why so much hate for the "New" Nintendo 3ds???

Of course the DSi/Color/GBA-style situation will take root... it has been this way for 20 years. From the Gameboy to the Color to the Advanced. From the DS to the DSi to the 3DS to the n3DS. They been doing this for years. The time gap between the 3DS to the n3DS is larger than the gap from the Color to the GBA, and just think about how much that changed.

Two things I want to emphasize in bold. (I also want to make it clear that I love the Mercedes DLC because of the Silver Arrow.)

Look at the complaints about how ill-fitting the Mercedes vehicles look in-game. I believe that Kotaku jumped on this here. Alright, now look at this Nintendo Life editorial. Do note that while the former is just...hate, I suppose, the latter mirrors my thoughts.

Now, I also a DSi-style situation to take root, but Xenoblade and the fact that a lot of games will end up taking advantage of the additional hardware buttons make me doubt that the DSi situation will repeat.
