It is a US game (if you mean by easily outselling EU and RoW). And it does sell better on Microsofts consoles.

I don't think the XOne version will outsell the PS4, but the margins will be much closer compared to any other multiplat game.

Actually relative to install base Madden sells better on PS3 in North Ammerica by the look of your table. PS3:360 install base ratio is 1:1.6. PS3:360 Madden 25 sales is 1:1.3. therefore the attach rate for Madden is better on PS3. Dunno how it went through the generation with each Madden title but showing Madden 25 is not a good example of what you're trying to say.

So actually with a bigger install base, PS4 Madden sales should be significantly more than Xb one.

Yep, you're right. I'm fairly new so excuse me if I make an invalid point haha. So yes, that kind of changes from what I was thinking now, means PS4 should sell even at HIGHER margins (software) when Madden is released. At least I showed it IS a US game though.

Also I think it was a fine example. Madden has been released sequentially for 25 years. The games market/customer base is pretty saturated at this point. It's clear Madden sells best in the US EVERY year. Madden also sold best on the 360 every year compared to the PS3, but as you pointed out that isn't saying much.

It's a US game no doubt, and Madden Xb one bundle should help Xb one a wee bit. But it is not a mega franchise, so it won't do all that much. It seems to have a fanbase of about 4.5 million in North America, which is a good sized market, but not one of the really big ones. I am wondering why we're not seeing it on the pre-order chart though.
