Ok so thats the 1st time Ive ever seen that happen with something so obvious as numbers but still =P

That is sort of my point. If the public struggles with clear distinctions between consoles, no question muddled mid generation advances will cause even more head aches.

Also, 3DS audience skews more casual with kids and parents who tend to be more easily confused by not being in the know.  These are th epeople that thought the 3DS when it came out was just a DS with 3D.
