So sales for august 23rd updated..

Xbox One and Wii U are neck and neck. Still no major X1 releases but its matching the Wii U. People still think the Wii U will hold onto this lead? Crazy.

No major releases for Wii U either. Its winning every week since May except one I believe. So yeah we think that because of those facts.

Yep! Thats becuase of Mario Kart 8, that momentum is now slowing as everyone should have expected and there is nothing in the coming weeks to really offset it. Meanwhile the Xbox Momentum will surely increase with Madden, Dance Central Spotlight, Destiny, Fifa all in the next 4 weeks. How much of an increase is need to beat the Wii U? Not a lot.

The line I've been repeating for ages is that the Wii U's biggest game (probably the biggest it ever have/ Nintendo equivalent to Halo 5) has allowed it to sell slightly above the Xbox One which hasn't had an exclusive or killer app released for ages. Its not reasonable to expect that lead to continue given the Xbox's future line up. Even if Smash Bros is released in November we can also exect XBox One to outsell the Wii U for that month as Call of Duty (1TB bundle), Assassins Creed Unity (next gen exclusive), Sunset Overdrive (exclusive), A new white SKU, Halo Masterchief collection (exclusive), Forza Horizon (Xbox Only) and Dragon Age 3  are all massive releases pushing it in november. Nintendo only has Mario Kart 8 holiday bump and Smash bros, depending on your stance you might throw in Beyonetta 2 aswell but I don't see it being a big seller.

This december will be the last time the Wii U will be competitive with the Xbox, as I do believe Mario Kart+ Smash Bros will work some wonders but after that I believe its the end of us comparing the two systems. Just look at the next gen only 2015 line up in Q1.

I see nothing for the x1, but a lot of games that will pushe ps4's. And one game maybe 2 that will push wii u. So sub 30k for x1 and 60k for wiiu averge weeks. But dont worry, the x1 has quantom brake in the summer wich will provide a one week boost, but sadly, nothing else untill the holidays. While the wii u anounced one game for every month of the year. But I agree with you, for a fan its dificult to see your team loosing.

You're too caught up comparing XO to PS4. If those games increase PS4 numbers by 200%, they will increase XO's by 70%. Even Diablo helped the Xbox have a 11% increase this week... To say 3rd party titles  do nothing for the XO is completely naive, ask yourself why the system hasn't dropped to Wii U levels yet. Remember when the Wii U was selling 20k last summer and at a much lower price? Cross gen games have kept the XO afloat, next gen exclusives will allow it to far surpass the WIi U.

I won't keep repeating the same argument, so this is my last post before I simply let the numbers speak for themselves, if I end up wrong I'll happily admit it but I really don't see that being the case. The last thing I'll say is that there is 1k between the Xbox and Wii U this week and you've said multiple times that 3rd party titles do nothing for the system. So how is it a system with more then 9 post launch exclusives (Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, Mario World 3D, Lego City Undercover, Zelda WindWaker HD, Wii Party U, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8... to name the biggest), is only barely outselling a system with 1.5 post launch exclusives (Kinect Sports Rivals, Titanfall).
