Think about it though.

What % of people actually download DLC for a game? Even if it's free. I'd bet that no more than 50% of people even mess with DLC at all in any form.

Then take into account that the game is not that new anymore. Most games drop users pretty steadily, so for 2.5M people to download DLC this late in the game's lifespan is .. interesting, when the VG numbers show less than that.

So I'd guess maybe 3.5M retail, 1M Digital out there?

VGC has shown to be pretty bad at tracking Europe, so it really wouldn't surprise me at all. Just look at all the corrections this gen with PS4/XB1/U, the numbers have regularly bounced all over the place.

But this DLC is different though since its included in the update and not a seperate DLC.  Just like everyone that owns Forza 5 downloaded most the DLC for it if they still use it since almost all the DLC is included in the updates the only thing you need to dowload seperately for that game are the free cars.

Well how much of the people who bought the game keep playing almost a year after.
