Having looked at this weekly sells and that the numbers partially up (lowest week for Ps4 going up from 98k to 131k) and noticed that the sales have stabilized and now starts the growing phase.

On August 16th we have

PS4 - 146k - 56%

WiiU - 64k - 25%

X1 - 48k - 19%

This proves that for the last weeks (even with X1 pricecut and WiiU boost of MK8 PS4 still have more than half of the marketshare).

If we consider from January 1st to July 31st we have

Ps4 - 5,2M - 60%

WiiU - 1,5M - 17%

X1 - 2M - 23%

Which shows that ps4 dominance have been Constant despite concorrents cuts and releases across the year.

So are we heading to a 60%+ marketshare?

Between January 4, 2014 and August 2, 2014, according to the VGChartz Data,

below are the overall and annual market shares

Overall:

PS4 : Up from 34.3% to 44.7%

XB1 : Down from 23.9% to 23.4%

WiiU : Down from 41.9% to 31.8%

Annual (2014 so far)

PS4 : Up from 58.7% to 60.3%

XB1 : Down from 34.0% to 23.4%

WiiU : Down from 10.0% to 16.4%

Expected Trend for 2014-2015

PS4 : to increase towards 55-60 % range

XB1 : to stabilize around 20-25%

WiiU : to stabilize around 15-20%

Have to agree.
