It's not that surprising. PlayStation is a huge brand in the Middle East and Asia, as well as Sputh America, and it is expected that it will sell good there, especially since it has no competition in those territories, and probably never will have. MS probably never will spread to Tier 3 countries officially, even to some of the smaller or midsize EU markets.
