The majority of Japanese/Asian gamers don't like "RACING" "SHOOTING" and "SPORT" games and that's all we have for PS3 right now. Why would they want to put away their PS2 and buy a PS3? Sooner or later, we will see Japanese developers pump out more games for PS3. Just give them more time. Sit back and watch the weekly data, don't make comments that may come back and bite you later. yes, that is the problem... people do remember the PSP. PS3 is starting to look like the PSP WW, good HW, poor HW sales. Everyweek the Wii outsells the PS3 WW even when there has not been a major release in several weeks, and the PS3 has had a couple. 1 game has saved the PSP in japan from becoming a pure MM device. Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
