Ummm???? Want to wait friend? Even SSB wasnt a quote on quote "Competive Fighter" and being labelled as a "Party Brawler" yet its one of the most competitive games to exist. Its also top 2 most popular fighter in the competitive scene and #1 overall in popularity.

Shouldnt take this as anything yet, like LoZ U "open world" i think we should wait before giving judgement. Pokkem fighters can turn out to be one of the most competitive, we need to wait and see.

But smash isn't a fighting game. It is a party brawler. I'm not worried about it not being competitive. I wanted a standard fighting game with Pokemon. It's nothing like Zelda's open world. Zelda U is open world. There is no discrepency there. You see it. You can walk to it. There are no loading screens. The world is massive. That's an open world. No need to wait. These guys want to distance the game from other fighting games. I don't like that.

I'm not saying I won't like it. I'm saying that if this isn't more typical of a real fighting game, the fact that the Wii U isn't getting any real fighting games like Mortal Kombat X, Street Fighter V, and Tekken 7 actually matters again.
