Pokken Tournament is a "competitive action" rather than a "competitive fighting game."

Street Fighter 4 is amazing. And you can still mash buttons in a good fighting game with deep and complex mechanics.

down to forward punch, down to back punch, down to forward kick, down to back kick. There, I just gave away 90% of Mortal Kombat's and Street Fighter's special moves.
