Got Gamecube at launch. Always planned to get Wii on day of launch but ended up getting it day after. Reason being that being the biggest Nintendo fan I thought Wii would be a sales failure after what happened to Gamecube and considering how much more powerful PS3 and 360 are. So I only pre-ordered month before. Not even sure why I pre-ordered cause I have never pre-ordered a console or game before. Got to the store on launch day and was told I didn't make the first batch and they had no idea when next shipment was coming. Went to different stores the length and breath of London and had no luck. Had a sleepless night that day.
Next day I decided to continue my search. When I was about to give up I decided to return to store I pre-ordered from for what it was worth and low and behold I was told my console had just arrived.
