Im thinking of this game, probably got misinformation. Pretty much got the info(somewhere on here) that you mine resourses on the planets for whatever reason you need the resources for.

Well if that's all that is required to be a minecraft clone wouldn't that include strategy games like starcraft where I mine crystals in order to pay for units?  It seems like a very general concept that you are giving Minecraft sole ownership of.

Gimmie a break here. Minecraft you mine shit to make other shit so you can mine more until you find the game winning material. I know in almost every game(including starcraft) you can get resources to pay for stuff. Please educate me on what the gameplay is like.

Well what we've heard so far seems to be around getting money to buy better ship parts to allow yourself to explore more of the universe.  It's got an economy unlike Minecraft which has solely the player (at least when I played it way back when).  Getting money could be done by mining, or you could do bounties or even be a trading merchant, it's up to you what you want to do with your time.  If there's a crafting system I would expect it to be something more like an MMO in which you can craft some things to make your basic materials into more valuable products rather than Minecraft in which you are using solely the materials you gather to make literally everything.

My apologies for the previous reply, but I'm getting tired of people tossing around the term "clone" so flippantly.  Very few games I would actually call clones since it diminishes the efforts of those working on the game and makes it sound like they did a copy/paste job to make a quick buck.
