I imagine it'd be just as fun, if not more. Everyone brings round their VR headsets instead of multiple monitors/TVs and play the same game but with a greater level of immersion. And then you'll always be able to take off your goggles and shake some of your friends to scare the shit out of them from time to time.
For those not playing, you can also have an overview on your main TV. So actually, far more fun than just individual TVs.
