I totally agree with ZenFolder; You can certainly say that console Pokemon don't sell nearly as much as their portable counterparts, yet saying something like that for the Monster Hunter series is nothing short of a bit silly.

We haven't seen a console Monster Hunter game for a long time, and long time before it even became popular. I have no doubt that the portable nature of the game on PSP boosts its sales, yet the platforms popularity (or lack of) cuts it back too.

The Wii is certainly no portable yet its the most popular console in Japan this generation which should even things up. And I'm really tired of people saying install base plays that much of a part in a game's success.

Sure, it's a big deal, but not so defining, especially in games like Monster Hunter, Pokemon, Final Fantasy (where the series fan will buy the console/portable the game's on no matter what)

PS: DmeisterJ, we might have a different opinion but I still love you
