rockband came to wii, because it was an easy port to do and has a very casual appeal even with its price.
I dont think the wii will ever get the same support the ps2 did as the winning console, but i think no console for the rest of history will get the same support the ps2 did.
also remember that most games go ps3, 360 and when u combine there install base it is a bit bigger than the wii and hardcore games sell better on those systems. Like just look at bully its doing double the wii numbers on the 360 with a lower install base
