PS3 fanboys are PS3 fanboys because of the PS1 and PS2 Japanese support. If they can't win Japan, they won't get that support like they want it, and if they can't win Japan, it's unlikely they can win the console race, so it's definately the tide turning market, even if it is the smallest.
That's why MH3 is important. Because it will probably further the Japanese embrace of the console it launches on, and the userbase, just like it did for the PSP. Not because we care if the game is good or not. |
Seeing as the Wii is already "winning" in japan by a very large margin i dont think the game will give it that much of an edge over what it already has, if it was on ps3 or xbox 360 and turned out to be a success then thats a different story.
