With that i don't see a problem. Kids are playing even COD and GTA. Smash can be aimed at all ages.
I also don't think it is right to say it will be just a bot spammer in smash, it was already said it will save the player skill set up's and work towards other games. While they still didn't announced all the functions, i do believe it will (or at least can) do many more things.
The point i agree with you is that a stand alone game would help a lot.
