Smash Bros Amiibos seem to market themselves as collector figurines. The fact that it has characters like Mario, Peach, and Pikachu allows it to aim towards children. Because of this, I think Amiibos can have a modest success as such things. No idea on how big it will spur Wii U sales since toys and game interaction aren't new anymore.
