Maybe. I personally think they should take this opportunity and release a regular mario kart 8 bundle (no wii mote or wii wheel) and make both the mario kart and nsmbu bundles $249 starting september 26. They should also release a sku without a bundled game for $199.
The $199 sku is the most important for 3 reasons:
1. It reaches the magical "100" price range.
2. Perceived value. It would be half the price of it's direct competitors.
3. Over half of the nintendo fans don't buy either mario bros or mario kart. These people would like the option of paying $50 less and using that money to buy a game they actually want.
After that, another price cut would only happen in 2016.
