I get third-party titles if they appeal to me. I have at least seven 3DS games and only one of them (FE: Awakening) is a Nintendo title. Bear in mind that I end up purchasing all games at full price because of my location.
Now, I think the value of third-party software is diluted due to two facts:
1. Their prices drop like a rock after a certain period of time on all platforms (should happen by 9th month of sales, otherwise, great legs.)
2. They often put out ports that don't fully utilize the hardware, thus diluting its value even more.
Add to that the fact that the only publishers Nintendo fans generally trust are Atlus, Marvelous and XSEED aside from Nintendo, and you have this steaming pile right here.
