what Phill said was "the franchise/ip is timed" which means that Rise of tomb raider could be exclusive but a(lets say) "Tomb raider 3" don't.

No, he said the deal was timed. How can people really expect they bought the entire IP for a set period of time when SE is releasing another TR game on both PC and PS4 next year
