I've done this without the sticker/cd factory trick, without VS battles against the computer, and without leaving the game on to build up time in brawls.
It's getting mighty tough to gain new stickers and trophies though. I spent over 1500 coins in the coin launcher this morning and got no new trophies and only 3 new stickers.
A few guys on Gamefaqs recommended a good way to farm coins for the coin launcher. Go play the Subspace Emissary level on the Halberd Bridge where you fight Duon. Fight him on intense and you should get about 54 coins per match. Every time you defeat him he either drops 4-6 stickers, a trophy, or a cd. That's pretty much all I've been doing the last few days.
