Well when I was like 12 playing for the first time and getting my foot grabbed in the first room made me jump, dogs in the corridor too. Then I started looking at blood in the corpse and presence or not of music.

ya i was about the same age, the zombie that jumped out of the closest with the music scared the life out of me

Good times... if you are up to a scare and want to jump alot play Alien 3 for Genesis (if you don't mind retro and emulators). That always got you when you were less worried.
