Very few people are actually talking about taste...
Nintendo typically have more exclusives but people are acting like PS4 and Xbox have no more then 1 or 2 exclusives announced for future. For secondary consoles it all comes down to who's exclusives you're next eager to play and thats entirely down to taste. If you don't like platformers half of the Wii U exclusives immediately become irrelevant. I don't like racing games so I never acknowledge exlusives like Drive Club or Forza...
Whether you game on PC or care about last gen releases may affect whether you view some of XBO/PS4 titles as exclusives or not. I don't game on PC, nor am I interested in buying last gen console releases if theres a shinier one out there.
Bolded means I'm actually interested in the game. Xbox One Sunset Overdrive Project Spark Halo MC Collection Eco Can't remember the name but its the indie one coming this holiday with the gorgeous 2D art. Below Fable Legends Quantum break Halo 5 CrackDown 3 Scale Bound PS4
LBP3 DriveClub PlanetSide 2 The Order 1886 Bloodborne No Mans Land Wild Uncharted 4 Rachet and Clank Remastered Tear Away Plenty more indie games I can't recall Wii U Hyrule Warriors Beyonetta 2 Sonic Boom Toad Smash Bros Mario Maker Xenoblade X Yoshi Yarn Fire Emblem Devils Third Mari Maker Splatoon Zelda
Enlighten me If I'm forgetting anything big..

When discussing a secondary console I think your list is missing all of the already released exclusives as well. I know when I make a determination on which order I am buying my consoles in it comes down to established and future libraries for 2nd, 3rd, etc consoles. I wouldn't be surprised to see others feel the same way.
