So in general the reasons given are that the Wii U offers very different games than the X1/PS4, which is a reason I can agree with, if you have such a broad gaming taste then the Wii U makes probably more sense together with a PS4/X1 than a X1/PS4.

What I don't agree with is the reasoning that 95% of the PS4/X1 library are the same, that is entirely irrelevant. When you already own one of the systems you'll more than likely only be looking at the games you can't get on your console when considering a second and the fact that the Wii U doesn't get the third party multiplats, does not mean that it will end up (which is why I said in 4-5 years or so) with more games that you won't be able to get on the PS4/X1, it just means that it will end up with less games overall.
