Yeah I'm sure Sony would lie and risk their entire reputation just for console wars on the internet. 

It will only be ignored.  Sony first called the Wii remote a gimmick, then they made "Move" and everyone was like Yea!  

That doesn't even begin to make sense. 

Especially considering that the Move was an evolutionary step that DIRECTLY leads into "Morpheus"!
