As I said, I guess you prefer the "battle armor" or all the other characters, such as suspenders or just a tie, or dresses, or the characters who aren't wearing any clothing...

Smash takes costumes from the games...very few of them are battle armor. Your point that it doesn't make sense for fighting is less than moot...

How is Samus usually depicted in the games? How is Donkey Kong usually depicted? Samus almost ALWAYS has her armor and DK almost ALWAYS only has his tie.

Tell me what reason there is for Samus to run around in bikini in this game? Why should she be dressed like that?
