I honestly don't think they would. Nintendo's kiddie stigma has persisted for more than 20 years now, and one IP like Destiny isn't going to change that. It's going to take a lot of work to erase 20+ years of that kiddie stigma, and they need to work towards building consumer interest in such types of games on their systems.

Besides, do you think a game like Destiny would work on Nintendo's crap online infrastructure?


Nintendo only has a kid stigma because they only make kid friendly games. And I'm not talking about just one IP to end things. I'm saying one IP to start them. Xenoblade is that one right now, but they need more like that. More "not kid" games. A lot more. And Nintendo's online is not crap. I've never once had an issue with it.

Playstation gets away with making Sly Cooper, Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, Knack, and Little Big Planet without being called kiddie because they release Uncharted, The Last of Us, Infamous, Gran Turismo, and God of War along side them. When Nintendo does that, most of those people will shut up. It's a stigma because it's true.
