yes because sony and microsoft have created games in every genre for their systems. They just need to provide better support to 3rd parties for new IPs that come out. The poor 3rd party sales are a result of too many old school Nintendo fans leaving for other systems, starting from N64 days.

You can't just expect game A, B or C sequel number 3+ to sell well on a system that has no fan base built. Why would someone buy a 3rd game in the series when they can confinue getting those games on the same system family line they got 1 and 2 on? Only time they chance systems is in exclusive scenarios like when FF switched to PS1 so those fans followed.

Nintendo needs to spend money on new games like Destiny, Watch Dogs, The Crew etc that have a good chance of being hits in the future... to entice 3rd parties to get them on their system. No point next gen going fuck we fucked up. Lets moneyhat the 3-4th game.

Bayonetta 2  is a good example. They did a smart move by addiing number 1. This will automatically give it a better chance of getting a new audience from the still remaining Nintendo only gamers.

Yeah, I don't agree with any of that. Bayonetta isn't going to do well at all. It may do better than most other M games because it's exclusive. That's it. Nintendo paying for multiplats like Destiny, Watch_Dogs, and the Crew is a waste of money. People with buy those games on the systems that already bought for a similar exclusive. You won't ever get the people buying a Wii U for Mario Kart, Smash Bros, and Zelda to buy Destiny, Watch_Dogs, or the Crew.

Destiny, Watch_Dogs, The Crew. Killzone, Infamous, Gran Turismo. Halo, Sunset Overdrive, Forza. Get it now? If Nintendo wants people to start buying AssCreed on their console, they need to start making exclusives that people who like AssCreed would buy a Wii U for first. Nintendo needs to build the audience, not 3rd parties.

I never said Bayonetta will sell great. It just has a better chance of establishing a new audience with 1 packed in then if 2 come out on its own.

Nintendo does not need to build an audience. Did Microsoft or Sony build one when they first come out? No they provided a platform and money hatted for exclusives from 3rd parties to attract the audience.  One company cannot do it all by themselves and why should they when you can use money to do it for you? What is the point of expanding your comany to an uncontrolable size just to cover every genre out there to "establish it". The culture of the company would also change probably for the worst as you get the mature guys vs the everyone entertainment guys infighting.
