When the weekly sales #'s come out for the Chartz, a large number of people will discuss them. At some point, someone will disagree with the others opinion. THat is when the "Chartz isn't accurate" statement comes out. Why bother to enter the thread to discuss the sales if you really think the #'s are bogus? If M$ announces a sales #, it is debated as to whether they are lying or not. When NPD comes out, people debate whether a release date of an item was reflected correctly in the numbers. Point is, no matter the informations source, people dismiss if it doesn't prove their point. |
This is the reality here. Also, I see it done very often by Sony fans but it's never an issue because it was done by Sony fans. Other fans that do it will likeky be called delusional.
