Well then you just don't like the graphics style? Well I guess the game isn't for you then

It will fun to play because they're receiving tons of feedback to tune it and make it fun to play. What's really going to make the game stand out is the immersive nature and how you can seamlessly go from walking around Earth, go get in your ship, fly to a distant planet and start driving around your rover. There's no other game like that

There's No Man's Sky, which is somewhat like that, and will be out long before this. Besides, that game description is exactly what I'm talking about. It's entirely conceptual and not at all focused on how the game is fun to play. Doing those things could be boring as all get out, depending on the execution. Many people on the team are veterans though, so I'm sure they have an idea of what they are doing.

Concerning the visuals, it's not that I don't like the style, as much as it is there not being much of a style at all. At least its not very expressive or coherent. It might come around, but as it stands it doesn't seem very inspired to me.

Right, but No Man's Sky is entirely procedurally generated. If you ask me, that doesn't lead to as good a result. Well when your game is more than a year away, it might not be fun, but if you've got the right direction and the right leaders, then it should all come together

But the only bit I've played has been fun, so that's all I can really judge it on

You can't say there is no style at all, of course there's a style, it's just a massively variable style depending on the in game manufacturer of the ship.

This is probably the most out there kind of ship http://starcitizen.wikia.com/wiki/Khartu

But I honestly can't understand how you think there's no art style
