As for EA bit, I didn't actually mean to include that part. It was added on with the quote.. But yeah, with online focus being more important to video games nowadays days, it should be inperitive (as a platform holder) to have a strong online infrastructure in place. Wii U is an 8th gen console but in many ways its still lagging behind its competitors on last gen consoles.

@bold. I don't see it. The eshop and miiverse are good online infrastructures. What exactly are you referring to that is missing on the U, twitch?

A universal account system for one - which isn't tied to hardware. Unique customisable user ID's, party chat (on XB Live), PSN/XB Live stores etc.
