One wonders what constitutes "amazing" for a remaster of a 1 year old game. Do we have some historical benchmarks to compare it to? Most recent example, though with much more than a 1 year gap is LoZ wind waker which launched with 275k sales. If TLOUR is merely good does that make WW remake week 1 poor, bad or terrible?

Yeah I don't remember another remaster/remake selling this well tbh. The God of War Collection didn't even start out that hot.


Well you know that the only game that being remastered could outdo TLOUR is GTAV, but since TLOU sold 7M (1st week double of TLOUR) and GTAV 25M there is a big chance that the size of the franchise make it sell more or the fact that it already sold a lot multiplat then it won't reach... But it id the only with a chance.
