So sony announce 30 million software sold for PS4 we have PS4 software at 24ish million. Does that mean we can rule of thumb 20% of software sales is digital being a mix of digital versions of retail games and digital only games? Does that feel right to people?
Good to finally see TLOUR number there. I think I went with 500K max first week so good to see it exceed my expectations. Should easily make it to 1.5 million possibly 2 million. A very nice earner for sony and at a much higher margin than a brand new game.
MK8 is huge. I don't think it'll reach a 50% tie ratio but it'll get close at least in the short term. As time goes by and MK8 sales drop away, as in next year, the tie ratio will fall of course; although if WiiU doesn't improve much in sales MK8 could potentially sell at 40+% of Wii U weekly sales for the entire generation. I can see MK8 selling 20-30k per week at a minimum for the life of Wii U.
