This challenge was a pretty genius idea. So many did it already (Gates, Sports stars, Zuckerberg and so on...) and it's in all the news around the world which increased attention and awareness about ALS a lot. This will obviously also increase donations a lot and probably to an amount nobody could dream of just weeks ago.
