It's right there on the front page. See under the main section where it shows Wii, 360, PS3, DS and PSP numbers and above the "VG Chartz News & Editorials" section. In between there it says, "Where do our numbers come from?". Put your mouse over that and it expands and has links to "about us" and "methodology" (how they get their numbers).
