No, I just have higher standards as a PC gamer who has experienced First Person Shooters with mouse + keyboard. It has nothing to do with the past. Dual-analog is the archaic method here that needs innovation.

Come on, how many of us do you think don't play FPS on PC with mouse + keyboard?

Motion controls & dual analog has it's pros & cons, that's why motion controls haven't become the defacto way for most people to play FPS, and dual-analog has endured.

No motion controls haven't become the "defacto" way to play FPS because they were only a standard on one platform, and the successor ditched them. It is an objective fact that motion controls are more accurate than dual analog. It is my subjective opinion that this leads to a more enjoyable experience.

the successor didnt ditch anything. the Wii U CODs still use motion control. The problem was and still is is taht there just werent that many FPSs on wii in the first place. and some of them were truly god awful (far cry). ANd thw WIi U doesnt really be looking to change that, if anything it will be worse, with just a bunch of CODs that people rarely buy for that system anway.

On a side note i like pointer controls for FPS if a game supports it i use it exclusively that goes for PS3 and Wii. But again it cant be standare when it isnt used that much.
