Dude, they're not using Destiny to try to sell COD, COD sells itself... they're simply trying to get a few extra bucks out of people who would have probably bought both games anyway at some point.

And since this is the first COD made with next-gen consoles as the lead platforms it'll do alot better than Ghosts did too.

Well they did say pre-orders were massively down (and VGC "data" supports that notion). So yeah, I'd say they're using Destiny's popularity to get more people to pre-order CoD.
